Charity

Here you will find a selection of my charitable highlights. With over 2,500 voluntary hours and a fundraising total of over £20,000 (pre-dance academy), I used this experience to help me set up my own community organisations and non-profit.

Kate Stanforth Academy of Arts C.I.C

An award winning arts academy with a difference founded by Kate. Running classes worldwide both online and in-person. Sponsored by Allied Mobility. See here

Project Parent

Project Parent was founded by Kate in June 2013. It involves making up gift boxes for parents of children who are in hospital over Christmas, all over the UK. We have provided over 1,900 boxes and supported 9 hospitals from Newcastle all the way down to Southampton.

Sponsor A Stay

A project to enable 5 disabled guests & 5 carers a week of respite at Calvert Trust Kielder in 2019. These guests had never experienced respite before, despite being severely unwell, and had a fully-funded stay with accommodation, food and disability-friendly activities.

Fundraising Total Over £20,000

Approx £20,000 in fundraising & grants to keep charitable projects going as well as donations towards other causes through own events (Fundraising total before non-profit dance academy launched!)
